@PeppyPatti yes, mum was born in Carnarvon. It's a lovely story, my great uncle, brother to my nana, rode his bike from Perth to Carnarvon and my nana went up there to see him. She met my grandfather and they got married, had mum and then when mum was still little they moved to Geraldton.
My family have a banana plantation there, although I have no idea who is managing it now. My grandfather got screwed out of his inheritance because his brother convinced their mum to change her will. It was pretty awful really. Families are terrible things.

place where I am has lots and lots of busybodies who think everyone here should serve the 'community' in some way else town will die lol
..tried going to community gym, got sick of choosing times when no one else there ok plus some glaring misses in equipt. ok excuses. woman in chemist tried to chat a few times , then did oh poor you last time. now she doesnt serve me, cos i used to get my back up when they messed me around w scripts like No other chemist ever.
Anyway all good. happy on my own and happy to talk to people if they want to lol

Yep this is true many years ago I was a carer to a property owner of Canarvon bananas ( I think ) she lived in M.P and lived in the huge beautiful home overlooking the river. The home had 2 inches dust everywhere oh I can’t reflect back on that time.
your incredible you have your own life.

Yes I have always leaned towards British comedy.
met a decent British doctor yesterday, with people skills and a sense of humour, so lifted my mood for possibilities for me getting a good Gp, at last.
We had lorikeets in our street, which was nicer than pigeons, but I still appreciate the bird life...

@Bunniekins I loved that movie and the 2nd one called Force of Nature: The Dry 2.
I also watch a series called Scrublands which is very similar to the Dry. And I really enjoyed it
There are two seasons. The series is a Stan original, so I am not sure where else you can view it. I think 9Now might have season 1.
