Re: Up for a chat?

@AlwaysMyself How has life been for you today? Staying on top? Snowed under? i hope not the latter.

Been good today, second day coming. Still some anxiety, and mind tossing stuff, but overall been stable and reflective.

i hope you all have a great day further.

An old classic

After nearly 10 years, over 40.000.000 million views and about 150.000 likes ( Thanks !!! ) I felt it was time to rework my most anticipated video. It fitted perfectly that a 5.1 version of Delicate Sound Of Thunder was released just a month ago. I hope you like this new version also and go and ...

Re: Up for a chat?

Hi @DownMoreThanUp 😊 , ive been ok - no major dramas but still "the usual" and a few extra stressors that i just need to plod my way through dealing with. Physical pain has been a bit of a pain last few weeks though.

But work has been productive last week and today, which is good. And I have enough work to keep me busy tomorrow to be productive 😊.

And then I'm off work for a few weeks on leave.

I saw that you had been having a few good days lately?

And I've been enjoying your photo updates from the property, including the ducklings 😊.

Re: Up for a chat?

Hi @DownMoreThanUp sorry I have been away for a few days and have not kept up with what's happening on the forums.

It seems you have not been well?

I hope you are feeling at least a bit better now.

I had a good time overall while I was away at a sports competition. Trying to catch up a bit now as this coming weekend I am doing a fundraising walk

Re: Up for a chat?

@AlwaysMyself Good seeing you around. Thanks you have been enjoying the updates on our garden. The mother duck still has 10 ducklings, hopefully they are old enough to survive at a higher rate now.

Yesterday i witness something amazing to behold. As i was sitting in my chair outside on the deck suddenly the geese sounded the alarm. Talk about hearing the trumpets blow!😂 Anyhow i looked up and there i saw a wedge tail eagle getting itself ready to swoop down. It would have only been 25-30 metres high i reckon, right above the place the 10 goslings would have been.

And then just as the eagle was beginning to swoop down, for it had in full speed began its decent, two crows attacked it in mid air, coming from seemingly nowhere, and drove it far away. i knew instantly this were the same crows who fed 7 of our ducklings to their young. (As if i heard Jesus say with a smile 'crows are not all bad, with Me nothing is.')

i like lessons like that.😀

Re: Up for a chat?

@Till23 Hi good to see you back around. Yes i did have some heavy days, i hate anxiety, such has always been my worst enemy, and i still always struggle when it comes around.

Yesterday and today has been much better, increasingly so. And i have began watching and reading more things again. And hope i will be stable enough to go to Church again soon. i have not been for ages.

You doing fundraising? What will the funds be for? Do you do such things often? Do enjoy fundraising? How do you go about doing that?

i hope you are well?

Re: Up for a chat?

Oh wow! That would be quite a sight @DownMoreThanUp !

I guess the crows think/hope they are saving the gosling for their next meal??? 😬

Re: Up for a chat?

@AlwaysMyself  Yes maybe.😎 i'll give them littel chance though. The Geese are extremely protective over their young. And can go in full flight attack anyone strange coming near. They only barely tolerate us when they have young. i love Geese they are cool animals.

Re: Up for a chat?

Sorry that you have had bad anxiety @DownMoreThanUp I can empathise with that.

I have done fundraising for a number of things mainly through doing walks - I have walked for Black Dog Institute, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Beyond Blue, Breast and Ovarian Cancer. I have done a dip in the sea for Cancer Council. I might have left out a couple. Next weekend I'll be walking for Cancer Council.

They are things I am interested in/had some contact with. I have had cancer twice, my father recently died from cancer and surprise! - I have mental health issues. I have lived in rural and remote areas that rely on RFDS.

I see or hear things advertised and once you've done one the organisation contacts you again for next campaign

Re: Up for a chat?

@AlwaysMyself @Till23 Not feeling well today unfortunately. Rather badly nauseated this morning and i also got a light head ache. i did take lots of supplements and remedies to treat the nausea so hopefully i pick up a little as the day goes on.

@Chasingsunsets @heartathome @AuntGlow

Have great day everyone!
