Sounds like you have a very good grasp on the complexities of the what's been going on and is going on now for you and him, @Bluetoo. That has to be helpful. Though if you're anything like me, it can get to the point where I can't get my mind off it. That's when 'shooting the breeze' gets helpful maybe.

I wonder what the time difference is between us. It's 2.45am here as I'm writing this. I love the quiet at this time.

It’s 12:31 pm here. I’m up late sometimes too. Ya. Shooting the breeze is nice. I like to use sarcastic humor. I crack myself up sometimes. Lol I’m careful not to use it here too much but it’s hard.
