Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

Good afteroon/evening forumites

@outlander @Shaz51 @oceangirl @Zoe7 @Appleblossom @TAB @Former-Member @Sam3

I have spent this afternoon working on an internship application. I intend on sending it tomorrow or at the earliest later tonight. Once I have that done it frees up my mind and concentration on other, more pressing matters of employment. That way I can concentrate on them instead. I also sent two enquiries to employment services/consultants in the UK.

Will see what comes of that overnight. But only had half a day today because I had to go to the bank to get the funds for the visa. This is tomorrow.

Onwards and upwards I guess. Baby steps. Even if it means a lot of effort on one thing that is highly competitive, it still means it is something.

How were your days forum dwellers?

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

A productive day then @MDT. I have been cleaning up some more things in the garage. The trailer is certainly getting quite full now but still some things to get rid of. I am finding more things damaged in the flooding from last year so that is a little sad but nothing I can do about it. Some things will need to be replaced but others just thrown out.

Been watching tennis on and off and flicking over to get the cricket scores also. Going to head back out into the garage for a little while soon now that it has cooled off a bit. Already had dinner so will clean up the dishes later when I come back inside.

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

sounds like a productive day @MDT i was going to write mine off but just got back from 90 min walk sweatty  ugh

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

90mins is an excellent thing @TAB
Your body will start to thank you for that after not smoking too

Sounds alright @Zoe7 on cleaning still.

Go us! Good stuff

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

Just finished one really big thing I needed to do in the garage and now resting again @MDT. Going to try to do a few of the smaller things befire dark but if I don't I'll try to do them before it gets hot in the morning.

We certainly are moving ahead today buddy Smiley Very Happy

@TAB Is walking getting easier now you aren't smoking?

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

yeah it should do re body appreciating new conditions lol and thanks @MDT

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

I really dont think its easier @Zoe7 I guess its early days and body probably still trying to fix itself. My legs feel different though, and can see visual difference already .well I have bad varicose veins, that was prob a huge part of reason to stop smoking. With any luck I'll be like alan Carr and they'll just go away ok with a lot of exercise lol.  I've got to start doing something a lot more intense to speed up body repair/take advantage of not smoking

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

I suppose it takes time for your body to get into any kind of shape when you haven't been doing much work on it @TAB Stopping smoking must make the breathing easier even if the body is still unfit.

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

the big difference am expecting is recovery times/being able to exercise more @Zoe7 still, it's early days

Re: My Story and where to from here.. (very personal)

well, yes, you would think so, but walking never made me puff @Zoe7 need to ramp things up as said
