Hello @heartathome, sounds like you might be getting the phantom page, if you go back a page and scroll down you should be able to see the comments ☺️.

Glad you caught the idea re: dog photos @Chasingsunsets 😉.
The tri-colour is my big goofy girl - she is the pure borzoi, so yep they come in those colours. 😄. Borzoi pattern and colours can be anything natural - the breed standard isnt specific on that like some other dogs are. Some borzoi even have colour/pattern like my other (male) borzoi-cross - the super fluffy grumpy sunbaker - who is grey/white and *used to* have more dark black on him. (Typical partial-husky genes that the Black recedes over time!).
@heartathome welcome to the forum phantom pages glitch as @MissGremlin noted - go back a page or few to find the *real* last message page. 😅😬
Yep super confusing, you are not alone in that! 🥰
Ahh lunch break.
So far work has gone well - productive!
And so far I haven't felt mentally tired like yesterday either. 😊 which is good because my afternoon is going to be filled with document-reading 😵💫 which is sure to make my eyes drowsy lol.
I like the sound of a mental health forum -- is that like an advisory/consultation/representation group to government to run things past?

Hey @heartathome that sounds like a good place to be mentally and physically!
what you listen to out there?
radio,playlist or particular artist?
I prefer the zoom only coz it doesnt have the anxiety and catastrophic experiences 9 out of 10 times i go through to be in person.
hope that good vibe sticks round for a while!
im doing ok today just hot here

I can't find Re: Toolshed anywhere. I'll wait till I get tagged from there next time and keep it open! Yes, you're right with regard to the forum. It's 'an advisory/consultation/representation group to government to run things past'. They wanted people with a lived experience and carers, which I'm both. I've also studied welfare, mental health peer support and disability. I was sponsored to go to the annual mental health conference in Brisbane a few months ago, which was interesting and informative. That's how I found SANE! It doesn't matter how much I know, when I'm struggling, I struggle. The connection here is really important to me as it keeps me mentally stable (since my mental health hub is closing down next week.) Thank you for caring!

@AlwaysMyself @Chasingsunsets @MissGremlin @AuntGlow and everyone else! What's your favourite spot?
It's the best spot by my unit atm @REDLINEZ750 . When it gets really hot, I'll sit around the other side of the unit where I have a two-seater in the shade.
One day, I'll walk to the beach, which is about a 20-minute walk. I haven't walked since my dog passed two years ago. The time is getting closer, Redlinez750! I spoke to a counsellor from SANE yesterday preparing me for some recovery group that is happening soon.
I listen to a playlist (different artists) from an old MP3 player. Someone must have put the playlist on my phone, so I have music going most of the time (through a portable speaker, not my phone!). It's mostly the 60's, 70's and 80's. Some 90's and 2000's provided by my son. Most of my music is quiet until U2 comes on! 😄 Occasionally I'll put on utube to listen to a whole album by an artist. Fleetwood Mac would have to be one of my old-time favourite groups. I'm not one to have loud music. Do you listen to music? What sort? Have we had this conversation before? I could be repeating myself! 🤔
How hot is hot your way? It's about 30 degrees here but with a breeze. Do you like daylight savings?

Hi @heartathome sounds like a nice thing to do sitting in the sun. I just went for a fairly long walk with a friend, some of which was beside the sea and we saw some seals.
This MH forum sounds interesting. I hope you are able to get some traction with governement. It's great that you could go to the conference as well. Did you find that a positive experience?
I am sorry to hear your MH hub is closing, that seems to be at a time of increased need in general society, I suppose it is a funding thing?

the whole time im on forum i have music playing in the back ground its all electronic produced by artist called aim to head @heartathome no words its just a beat that soothes me no singing in it.
I must be careful around music as it can effect my behaviour, set emotions off joys of being over sensitive.
im glad your call helped today with Sane providing a plan for coming weeks, i had my first 1on1 today also and went well too.
my spot is end of bed with mountain pooky and forum friends all present
my shade and sunlight is in form of vertical blinds in my spot hehehe

@Till23 Wow! 😀 You saw seals! That's exciting. I went swimming once with seals in southern WA, I think. I can't remember where! They are amazing! I remember I jumped off a boat and was snorkelling with them in a bay. Fancy that. A memory pops up that was a positive experience! We've been watching the whales go north and then head back south again. I've never seen one up close and not sure if I want to. Seeing them from the shore is close enough. I get terribly seasick on the ocean.
Getting traction with the Government is a bit of a laugh. There's so much red tape. Things ARE moving forward but all much slower than I'd like. I like being a part of it, not that I say too much! It seems they just want their ego's stroked. I'm on there as an advocate for people with mental health. Just one small voice in amongst a lot of others. Thankfully we have other people with a lived experience on the forum. Naturally, it's all business. The mental health forum was very informative, and the smoking area was a great place to meet people. 😁
I'm also on another forum with a drug and alcohol rehab with lots of programs for both AOD and mental health. That's where the mental health hub came from. It's all about funding! I met up with Rose Jackson last year, but no funding this year. We did our best to keep it going. I can't complain because I had them there for over three years! That was somewhere to go. Thank goodness I found SANE! At least I have a sense of belonging here. Connection is important to me! 🙃
