Re: HI there - Husband with depression and anxiety long term
He was told by previous drs hed never work again but he had to as workers comp cut him off under the new 5 year rule in NSW. we looked into the disability pension but hed end up with something like $10 as i work full time.
Mr D is on DSP As I work Mr D gets nowhere near the full amount but the discounts help. I would like to think Mr D could work at least part time but I am not sure he can - he seems to go ok then I notice things are not right and it breaks my heart. I have to be practical about budgeting, our only debt is a small mortgage and I refuse to have any credit cards. If we cannot pay for it we don't get it.
It is one of the losses that come with MI - living grief.
Yes my mr shaz has had depression all his life and has been diagnsed with lots of things , has been in hospital , he can not work in a job , we are self employed on a very low income with lots of ups and downs every day , this year he was diagnosed with bipolar 2 , he can not handle centerlink at all and he plays yoyo with his medications
